Course description

This portfolio is intended to address sculptural design. Design involves purposeful decision making about using the elements and principles of art in an integrative way. Students are asked to demonstrate 3-D design through any three-dimensional approach; including but not limited to; figurative or nonfigurative sculpture; architectural models; metal work; ceramics; glass work; installation; performance; and 3-D fabric/fiber arts. Students will be asked to submit digital images of their best 10 works. The work in this section will clearly demonstrate student historical research of media; his or her project(s) analysis; interpretation and critical thinking skills.
