Course description

This course is aligned to the AZ College and Career Ready Standards and fulfills the first mathematics credit for graduation. Integrated Mathematics 1-2 H will provide students conceptual development and opportunities for procedural fluency to integrate the STEM ACCR-M standards and Statistics standards. This course integrates mathematical modeling of real world data with focus on integration of technology; inquiry based learning; critical thinking and application in culminating unit projects. Algebraic concepts include: solving; building and interpreting linear and exponential functions; solving systems of equations; Geometric concepts include: foundations and tools for geometry; constructions; introduction to transformational geometry; using coordinates to prove simple geometric theorems; Statistical concepts include: representing and interpreting single variable statistics; regression of linear models.
