Course description

Hawaiian language may be taken for four years; Hawaiian 1; 2; 3;and 4. Designed as a introduction to the Hawaiian language. Students develop a basic understanding of the sound system; vocabulary; grammar and common phrases used in daily life. Grammar and cultural studies are integrated throughout the course sequence.
