Course description

This course is the equivalent to a first semester college course in Calculus-based Physics. Advanced placement Physics work; energy and power; systems of particles and linear momentum; circular motion and is a full year course for students who wish to pursue a college level Physics course in High School. This course covers kinematics; Newton's Laws of Motion; rotation; oscillations and gravitation. Students enrolled in this class are expected to take the College Board Advanced Placement (AP) Physics C Mechanics Exam. Exam scores; and each college/university; will determine eligibility for college credit.
