Course description

This course will introduce the basic concepts of Chemistry through exploration of environmental issues and chemical systems in nature. Students will investigate local issues such as water and air quality and how chemistry explains the problems. Global environmental issues as well as natural cycles will also be examined from a chemistry standpoint.
