Course description

Students in this course will study the history; fundamentals; and cultural differences associated with design. Using this knowledge base; students will analyze; interpret and evaluate existing visual art and interiors from different eras; and then practice these skills through the creation of their own designs by utilizing traditional art mediums and computer aided drafting software. Students will use this experience to create products like perspective drawings and renderings; floor plans; textile patterns; furniture and home accessory designs.
