Course description

Biotechnology is the use of biological processes; organisms; or systems to manufacture products intended to improve the quality of human life. In this course students will learn about; and explore the concepts of DNA and its function. In addition students will discover how to trouble shoot advanced equipment. Safety procedures and lab skills will also be taught in this course.
