Antiquities is a study of the ancient world- from the Biblical account of creation to the fall of Rome in the middle 500’s. It encompasses the history of the Bible as recorded in the Pentateuch; the patriarchal fathers of Israel; the civilizations of the fertile Crescent in Mesopotamia; the rise and fall of Ancient Egypt; the role of the nation of Israel in ancient affairs; the rise and fall of the Greek civilization and culture; the role of Alexander the Great; the civilizations of the Eastern world; the rise and fall of the Roman world.
