Course description

Intermediate Art will cover a more comprehensive understanding; appreciation and explanation of drawing; painting; ceramics; mixed media and design. Students will further develop their talent to draw; paint and sculpt using creative class planning and various techniques. Students will continue to study Art History and various artists. They will also gain a strong understanding of how to constructively critique the artwork created by themselves and their peers. Open houses (art exhibits) will allow students to present their artwork to an outside audience (family; teachers and peers).
