Course description

This course covers sophisticated concepts; processes; and skills in the graphic design industry. Emphasis is placed on innovation; creativity; and critical thinking skills; the sophisticated relationship between aesthetics and function; and the role of design in professional contexts. Students will work independently to complete one major project per quarter. Students will add to their portfolios and showcase their favorite pieces at the semi-annual Art Shows. Students may repeat this course multiple years for credit.
