Course description

The second year IB course for German will also utilize a review of thematic units that will enhance and review previous learning while increasing the depth and breadth of the students' ability to function in the German language. Each unit lends itself to cooperative learning activities that will explore a variety of global; social; political and cultural elements for discussion and written activities. In addition; each unit reviews specific grammatical points and provides both cultural and literary works to increase reading fluency. Student will also be required to watch and discuss a variety of films. An additional focus will be on the internal assessments and preparation for the external assessment.
