Course description

This course is designed to develop an understanding of business theory and an ability to apply business principles; practices; and skills. It aims to encourage a holistic view of the world of business and economics by promoting an awareness of social and ethical factors in the actions of organizations and individuals in those organizations. Students will study the interaction of the United States government; business and consumers in the marketplace; with an emphasis on international markets and global trade.Developing international mindedness and an awareness
of different cultural perspective provides students the skills to think critically and appreciate the nature and significance of change in a local and global context. This course is part of the IB
