This Algebra II equivalent course extends the concepts of Algebra I and addresses Algebra II standards through an applications-rich; algebra-based; real life orientated program. This course allows students to explore algebraic thinking patterns and functions through business and personal financial applications and to see the interrelatedness of mathematical topics into real world situations and scenarios. The concepts covered in this class are introduced; developed; and applied to real-world context so students can question outcomes using mathematical analysis and data to support their findings.
