Course description

This course will facilitate a personal study of dance creations within a variety of contexts and styles. Students will explore production elements including lighting; sound; and costume as well as the expanding world of technology in dance to create well rounded visual and auditory dance experiences. These elements will be analyzed and utilized as students relate to movement concepts and further develop artistic intent. Leadership and collaboration skills will be enhanced as students allow movements and performances to emerge involving self; peers; and communities.
