Course description

The Fundamentals of Art course introduces the student to the elements and principles of art as they apply to two-dimensional and three-dimensional works of art. The student will have hands-on experience with pencil; charcoal; pastel; ink; tempera; printmaking; clay; wire; paper mache; plaster; and mixed media. The student will also examine two-dimensional and three-dimensional works of art; artists; and artistic movements throughout art history. Course creates dust.
