Course description

This course gives the music student an opportunity to develop the aural and oral skills in basic music theory and to explore the integration of these elements in music of the common practice. Students will develop skills in writing and listening to music; as well as; in ear training; sight singing; melodic and chordal analysis and melodic and harmonic dictation.
