Course description

This course is designed for students who love to write. Classroom instruction is centered ondeveloping journalistic writing; objective style; and teaching in design; layout; and editing skills.Students are responsible for producing the school newspaper. Students will function as staffmembers and learn various aspects of the yearbook publication process such as layout anddesign; copy writing; photography; budget and finance; and promotion and publicity. Studentsare responsible for producing complete layouts in order to meet publication deadlines. Teacherapproval required.
