Medical Anatomy & Physiology H is a laboratory science course designed for students who have taken biology and wish to pursue a more detailed study of human anatomy and physiology in preparation for a career in the medical field. The course provides highly comprehensive information about the structure and function of the human body and is a good foundation for students interested in the medical profession. Topics include the body plan; homeostasis and major systems of the body;e.g. integumentary; skeletal; muscular; immune; circulatory; respiratory; digestive; endocrine; nervous; excretory; and reproductive. In addition students will learn medical terminology associated with these body systems.
