Course description

In this course; the piano is used to teach different musical theories that relate to every other instrument including reading staff music; lead sheets for worship; sight reading and creating original music. Each day; sight reading and playing will be reinforced in groups through exercises and repertoire pieces. Worship lead sheets and classical repertoire will be learned and performed during this class to prepare students for playing in front of a corporate service or an audience. This course will teach any student who wants to learn music for the first time; or reinforce those who already have musical experience.
