Course description

Students will demonstrate fluency of choreographic elements; structures; and processes to design original dance compositions with intentional choices in artistry. Students will work collaboratively to produce dance performances and organize the production elements that would be necessary to fulfill the artistic intent of the dance works. This class will culminate in a final project showcasing a full length performance. The portfolio will include a research paper providing the artist intent of the piece and the steps that were taken to develop the full length performance
