Course description

This course builds on the foundations of ASL 1 and 2; offer-ing students the opportunity to refine; expand and learn new vocabulary; speaking and listening skills in American Sign Language. In addition; students will achieve greater understanding of deaf and hard of hearing culture through interaction; course readings; video analysis; and presenta-tion. The combination of ASL skill and cultural knowledge together leads to greater ASL fluency.
