Course description

This course introduces concepts in agriculture emphasizing basic principles of animal science and agricultural business. Topics include: animals in sustainable agriculture; animal production; food animal body systems; livestock judging; and basic agricultural sciences. Students will participate in labs and events held in the local agricultural community.
