Students follow a fictitious family's life as they investigate how to prevent; diagnose; and treat disease.Students explore how to detect and fight infection; screen and evaluate the code in human DNA; evaluatecancer treatment options; and prevail when the body organs begin to fail. Students are exposed to variousinterventions related to immunology; surgery; genetics; pharmacology; medical devices; and diagnosticsthrough real-world cases.
