English 7-8 Culturally Relevant from the Mexican American/Chicanx Perspective is an additional option for th final course in the series of required English graduation credits.† The course includes thematic units with fiction and non-fiction short and longer texts and writing topics that focus on Mexican American/Chicanx literature from a variety of genres.† Throug a culturally relevant perspective; students will learn how race; class; gender; sexual orientation; culture and language have shaped Native American literature and non-fiction writing.
