Course description

This course provides students an introduction to computer systems; graphic communications and design; and various media software applications. Through† †hands-on experiences; students will apply technical knowledge and skills to plan; design; create and evaluate visual and printed media. The curriculum is based on specific skills using mechanical; electronics; and digital graphics equipment. Areas introduced include vector and raster graphics; typography; layout-design; and multimedia. The student in this program will implement critical thinking; applied academic; artistic principles; evaluation processes and studio techniques. Students will engage in career planning to assist them in making choices for the future.
