Course description

This course offers advanced exploration into a wide variety of graphic art techniques using computers as well as traditional methods. Areas expanded include vector and raster graphics; typography; layout design; and multimedia. Students will utilize critical thinking; applied academic; artistic principles; evaluation processes; and studio techniques. A greater emphasis on self-direction and exploration will be expected. Students will engage in career planning to assist them in making choices for the future and also continue developing a personal portfolio. †
