Course description

This course is the equivalent of a one semester introductory college course in 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional art and design. Students will create portfolio work that demonstrates inquiry through art and design. Focus is placed on development of materials; processes; and ideas over the course of a year. Portfolios include artwork; process documentation; and written information about the work presented. Students have the option to submit their Advanced Placement portfolio to the National College Board.
