Course description

This course is the first semester of Honors Chemistry. Honors courses are designed to be more rigorous andchallenging for a student. Additional areas not included in the standard course are explored. Students explore chemistry by studying theatom; the combination of atoms in compounds; and interactions between matter and energy. Students may be required to do severalprojects as part of the class.
