This fourth year math course is designed for senior students. Combining algebraic and graphical approaches with practical business and personal finance applications; Financial Literacy motivates high school seniors to explore algebraic thinking patterns and functions in a financial context. The course offers application based learning approach incorporating Algebra I; Algebra II; and Geometry topics. The course encourages decision-making skills necessary to become wise and knowledgeable consumers; savers; investors; users of credit; money managers; citizens; and members of a global workforce and society.
