Course description

This course is an introductory college-level instructional course designed to help students succeed by meeting and even anticipating the demands of the modern world of accounting. Topics covered include: analyzing; journalizing; and posting transactions; utilizing special journals including accounts payable and accounts receivable subsidiary ledgers; payroll accounting; taxes; and reports; cash control systems; creating; interpreting; and analyzing financial statements; and accounting for plant assets and depreciation. Automated accounting software is utilized to simulate real-world experiences.† †
