Financial Algebra is an algebra based, applications oriented, technology rich course. It addresses college preparatory mathematics in topics from Advanced Algebra, Statistics, Probability, Pre-Calculus and Calculus under seven financial categories: Banking, Investing with Business Modeling, Employment and Income Taxes, Automobile Ownership, Independent Living, Retirement Planning and Household Budgeting. There is an emphasis on problem solving skills and strategies in real world contexts. Please note that this math course does not meet four-year college admission requirements.
