ALGCONNECT stands for Algebraic Connections. The prerequisites for the course would have been Algebra I; Geometry; and Algebra II. The course was designed as a "bridge" course that followed Algebra II; counting as the 4th math class required by the state. It built on the concepts covered in Algebra I; Geometry; and Algebra II; providing real-life connections without going to the abstract levels that Advanced Math or Pre Calculus would present.
