Course description

We will investigate all body systems including movement (skeletal and muscular), transportation (circulatory and respiration), control (nervous and endocrinology), energy and waste (digestion and excretory), protection (skin, immune, and lymphatic) and reproduction.  Emphasis will be placed on the relationship between structure vs function and how many systems have a design that is related to surface area. Discussions and presentations will be included but not limited to vaccinate or not, nature vs nurture, performance enhancement in sports, when does life begin/euthanasia and disorders within systems.
