A course that focuses on the scientific principles of the science and care of agricultural and household animals, and the production, processing, and distribution of agricultural animal products. Includes instruction in animal biology, animal husbandry and agricultural and food products processing. Students will work to monitor animals at the school barn and engage in hands-on activities with animal specimens. This class builds upon knowledge from previous biology classes and is recommended to take before Veterinary Science.
