AP Biology: Advanced Placement Biology is a Second-year biology course designed for qualifying students that intend to take the AP Biology test. The major areas of emphasis are molecular and cellular biology; biochemistry; organism biology; and population biology. This course features interactive or hands-on experiences; such as projects and laboratory investigations that encourage inquiry and higher-order thinking applications. Labs two (2) hours each.
