Course description

This course in designed to continue to develop the student?s programming skills in a high-level language. Real-world applications will be written in the areas of mathematics; business; science; and economics. These programs will expand upon the concepts taught in MAT615 and will also utilize advanced data structures including searches; sorts; multidimensional arrays; ArrayLists; recursion; and inheritance. This course is valuable for any student intending to pursue a career in mathematics; science; engineering; business; data science or computer science. The student is encouraged; upon completion of the course curriculum; to take the Advanced Placement Computer Science Principles Exam as well as a CTE Industry Exam.
