Course description

The course emphasis is on concepts in physics; research; experimentation; evaluation and problem solving. Some of the topics taught are mechanics; energy; and electricity. Students spend between one and three hours each week completing laboratory assignments.† This course addresses the needs of an AP curriculum and prepares students for the option of taking the College Board?s Advanced Placement Exam for Physics 1.
