The course emphasizes practical communication and the preservation and continued use of the White Mountain Apache language.
Apache Language II: This course builds upon the skills developed in Apache Language I. Students increase proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing while developing more complex vocabulary, grammar, conversational skills, and language usage. The course continues to integrate White Mountain Apache culture, traditions, values, history, and community knowledge while promoting increased fluency and preservation of the Apache language.
