This course will teach students communication skills such as reading, writing, listening, and speaking and will emphasize the practical application of communication as a business tool. Students will learn how to use technical reports and manuals, write business letters, write resumes, conduct interviews, write emails, perform multiple types of public speaking (informative, persuasive, and commemorative), and create visually engaging presentations using multi-media approaches. (Course is an alternative to JUNIOR ENGLISH 5-6/AMERICAN LITERATURE)
