This course will teach students communication skills such as reading; writing; listening; and†speaking and will emphasize the practical application of communication as a business tool. Students will learn how to use technical reports and manuals; write business letters; write resumes; conduct interviews; write emails; perform multiple types of public speaking (informative; persuasive; and commemorative); and create visually engaging presentations using multi-media approaches.†(Course is an alternative to JUNIOR ENGLISH 5-6/AMERICAN LITERATURE)
