In this NGSS-aligned course, students explore the planets, interstellar object, energy, and forces of the solar system. Students develop an understanding of physics and earth space science concepts through the lens of astronomy, and build connections to chemistry and life science. Students learn about the solar system through experiences in the laboratory and sites beyond the classroom, such as NASA and the Air and Space Museum. This course provides NGSS physical science credit for high school graduation.
