For biology; all students spend 40% of class instruction in a lab setting. Because our course is virtual; the majority of labs given to students are virtual labs. We utilize Gizmos for the majority of our lab assignments.

Biology In this comprehensive course; students investigate the chemistry of living things: the cell; genetics; evolution; the structure and function of living things; and ecology. The program consists of in-depth online lessons including extensive animations; an associated reference book; collaborative explorations; and hands-on laboratory experiments students can conduct at home. K12 lab kits contain all lab materials that cannot easily be found in the home. Course Length: Two semesters Credit: 1.0 Prerequisites: None
