Students are introduced to a variety of techniques used in biotechnology and molecular biology using the equipment necessary in a research or industrial setting. Students are expected to develop skills in DNA and Protein Gel Electrophoresis, Microbiology, PCR, Pipetting, Solution Preparation, Serial Dilutions, Standard Curve, and Spectrophotometry.
