Course description

This course will invite students to apply the knowledge learned in year one of the business management program to projects and case studies as well as an intense look at today?s business environment. Students will use their developing leadership skills to run a business and collaborate with peers. This course will introduce students to general management concepts such as management functions; management structures; and strategic planning tools used by management. Students will also explore the benefits and risks of starting a business; the role of marketing and finance in developing a product for that business; how government plays a role in the free enterprise system; and micro and macroeconomic principles affecting business decisions. Students who successfully complete this course will earn their economics credit for graduation.†
