Students study the practical application of mathematics using problem-solving strategies and math skills as related to everyday consumer situations. Included are real world applications involving fractions, decimals, percents, tables, graphs, probability and statistics in the solution of problems related to topics such as personal finance, interest, taxes, and investments.
