This course follows the standards for a traditional Algebra I course, studying the same topics through a culturally responsive lens. The course is focused on data analytics. Quarter 1 begins with the statistics standards. Building on this foundational knowledge of regression, students learn about linear, exponential, and quadratic equations through data. Students model real-world situations using math to make predictions about the world around them.
