Course Description:
Engineering Technology 1: Land & Sea is the first year of this two-year pathway focused on drones and technology.
From the first day you will be immersed in a hands-on journey to explore and build machines to solve increasingly complex problems, including those that you discover are impacting the community around you.
In this course students will:
Solve problems in Engineering
Learn foundational understanding physics, engineering, and programming
Learn about drone Technology related to land and sea
Learn to use additive and subtractive design for part fabrication using modern technological tools
There will also be at least two field experiences, one to Joby Aviation and one to USCS’s CITRIS program, that will allow you to see both what these concepts, careers, and constructions look like in the real world,
