Students learn the engineering required for current aerospace needs. Students may design, build and operate unmanned aerial vehicles such as hypersonic boost gliders, high performance rockets reaching up to 5 miles, altitude at 970mph, and have the opportunity to earn their Federal Aviation Agency license as a commercial Small Unmanned Aerial System pilot. Students receive one credit of Scientific Research and Design and one credit of Engineering Design and Problem Solving may fulfill 4th science credit.
