Course description

This course offers detailed instruction in various techniques and processes. Students will focus on the elements and principles of art and design. Students will explore a variety of techniques which may include painting watercolor, oil, acrylic, ink, charcoal, mixed media, and printmaking. Students will use materials expressively to create original works. Students have the opportunity to present finished works and critically discuss, analyze, and evaluate artworks. (May be repeated for credit)
