Course description

This course provides students with an understanding of personal finance and business related concepts through a mathematical lens. Topics will include investing, credit, banking, auto insurance, mortgages, employment, income taxes, budgeting, and planning for retirement. Within these studies linear, quadratic, exponential, piecewise, and step functions are further developed from previous math courses, as well as concepts from statistics and geometry.
