Financial Algebra is an application-based mathematics course covering numerous financial topics. The course
addresses college preparatory mathematics from Advanced Algebra, Statistics, Probability, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus
through several financial topics: Banking, Investing, Credit, Employment and Income Taxes, Automobile Ownership,
Independent Living, and Retirement Planning and Household Budgeting. Students will have multiple opportunities to
use, construct, question, model, and interpret financial situations through symbolic algebraic representations,
